Torsions and Drifts is the haunting solo debut from Western Australian sound artist Paul Fiocco. Best known for his work with Kane Ikin in acclaimed duo Solo Andata (12k, Hefty), Fiocco took time out to craft this beautiful album of dark cello drone and eerie field recordings early in 2009. Ominous and beguiling.
